Pros

Unlimited PTO and ability to work from anywhere

Cons

Gate keeping - other EAs would restrict access to files and necessary things preventing others from being able to do their jobs Expected to work and be available 24/7, even if on planned PTO.

Pros

I've been at GitLab for 2 months and their onboarding process is really great. Their handbook is amazing (and updating outdated bits during onboarding was simple too). Even though it's 100% remote I feel connected with my team mates and with people from other departments.

Cons

It's hard to have face-to-face catch up with team members due to timezones
