      Pros

      - wonderful community of kind and helpful individuals - team diversity (everyone can feel respected and celebrated for who they are) - work flexibility (non-linear working day, being the manager of one) - competitive salary - transparency (everything is public by default) - unlimited paid time off - asynchronous environment - really great product

      - honestly, nothing really I can think of, I simply love it here <3

      - Be your own manager - Flexibility due to remote and asynchronous work/life balance - Great amount of freedom regarding vacation (days) and time-off! - Benefits all across the board - Very friendly management, C-level are basically friends! - Everyone helps everyone, no one is left out. - Many opportunities to grow, vertically or horizontally. - Somewhat flat hierarchy

      Cons

      - If remote is something new, its quite a thing to get adjusted to. - (sometimes AMER, APAC meetings are too early/late to attend in person) -> asynchronous video recap would be a positive here in this case.

      Pros

      From the day I started interviewing with GitLab until today I have been super happy. The culture is amazing and the home office is not boring as other companies can be. They encourage everybody to be who they are and you don't feel pressured because you are at home, you can do your work in peace and they count the results, not the hours spent. The colleagues are amazing and always ready to help. If you are a person who travels or moves from city or country often, this is your place. That was one of my principal worries and now I can be totally relaxed.

      Cons

      The contrast would be that I should have joined before.
