      Pros

      - The onboarding process is fantastic; it is very well structured and designed in a way that most tasks can be completed without needing additional help - Everyone is very welcoming / friendly and always willing to help - I always feel part of a team as people are always willing to help each other and pair up on tasks when needed - Flexible working conditions are a big bonus; I can structure my day around personal things I need to get done - Even though I am working from home I always feel connected due to team meetings, coffee chats etc.

      Everything has been positive so far :)

      Pros

      GitLab is definitely one of the Outstanding companies in the market out there. Everyone at the company is extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent Pay-rate. Stock Options.

      Fun while it lasted

      Pros

      Great people. You will receive a lot of help from your peers and leadership team if you ask for it and sometimes even if you don't someone will offer a helping hand. Good pay. Considering its remote i'd say the working conditions are excellent.

      Cons

      Its seems that if you are placed on a performance improvement plan its already kind of decided that you'll be let go whether you meet the requirement of the plan. May be overstaffed on the leadership side of the ball and in general. A lot of shake up happening during 2020 that has everyone a bit hyper vigilant and uneasy.
