Pros

-Lots of freedom to try out new strategies + experiment, plus the support you need to follow through on your vision. When I asked my manager about the possibility of getting a certain application I wanted to use for my work, their response was, “do you have a company credit card?” I was encouraged to go ahead and just get the application I wanted and start using it! - nothing is really set in stone yet, so you’ll get to help create the playbook! - every single person you’ll work with is smart, driven, sweet and interesting -pay is competitive with a great commission plan -CEO makes time to interview each and every candidate, and that’s not just a pre-hire show, they will actually make time to meet with you, answer questions and help you with your work as well if you ask - the technology behind the GiveCampus platform is constantly evolving, and new features and improvements are showcased weekly to the whole team, so you get a front row seat to amazing innovation -fun, young, upbeat vibe

Cons

-not really a con, but because most of the people on the team are relatively young (and brilliant), it seems we’re loosing people to grad school. Definitely need more amazing friends who can hang out for a few years to join us!

Cons Outweigh the Pros

Pros

At GiveCampus, you will work with an impressive, fun group of people. There are opportunities to tackle new projects and participate in cross-team efforts. You will make an impact!

Cons

The further out I am from my time at GiveCampus, the more toxic I realize the environment was. The cons are the same as any start-up... which leadership should own up to and at the very least attempt to mitigate. Your coworkers are great, but this does not make up for the abysmal salaries and expected unpaid OT. If you are a workaholic and have some interest in the industry you will probably be ok. Otherwise, it may be best to avoid.
