Pros

different groups to get involved in- Women's Network, Black Business Network, Pride Network, Asian Business Network

Cons

They do not promote internal advancement or care about work life balance. They do not listen to employee feedback. Always adding to your plate but not getting compensation for extra work.

Pros

I gave a 3 star to GA as both pros and cons are petty fair and obvious to me. If you love finance or insurance business, and have no problem of a fast-paced working environment (like in between wall-street and start-up mode), then GA is an option. 1. The company has been growing fast, and you will have a chance to learn and access many different things about insurance business. 2. Nice location. HQ based at WTC and will be moving to the mid-town of NYC. 3. Some nice and talented people. my manager is the best guy I've ever met. Team members are sharp and hard-working. 4. Fair compensation in the insurance industry. 5. Great CEO.

Cons

Now jumping to what you may dislike here. 1. As a mid-size and fast growing company, the infrastructure and support is a pain, especially if you need to use tools more than excel and sas. You will spend a lot of time fixing source problems rather than focusing on the project goal. 2. As you see from other posts, some people/teams just kick balls when you need external help, especially if you are not from a core team. 3. Too much business focused and you will see lots of constraints if you are a tech guy. GA is NOT a fintech company so be clear about what you really want to learn or work on before joining. 4. Pay is not competitive on the market. Begin to share very few stocks but the investment plan is just a joke...
