Pros

Office experience. If you are coming from a retail environment or do not have a college degree this is a good place to start building your resume. The work is not challenging at all but the payment processing industry is such a mystery to most people it looks good on a resume and you can make it sound great in an interview. If you are in the call center expect to take 4 - 8 inbound calls per hour. Plenty of time to read. Benefits are okay. People are okay. Food is okay. Gym is okay.

Cons

Can't use your cell phone at your desk. Outsourcing. Low pay. Cliques. Head scratching procedures. Slow computers. Poor communication between departments. Angry customers. HR is terrible. The coffee sucks. It's an evil company in an evil industry.

Pros

Schedule is flexible. Big facility with cafeteria, etc., lots of parking.

Cons

Compensation way below living wage. Targets required to make ramp-up plan almost impossible to meet. Deceptive recruiting practices. Understanding Commission plan harder to read than Mayan Petroglyphs. Little support from management or other reps. Training program minimal and consists mostly of Powerpoint presentations with no real job application.

Pros

At least you have a job. I guess.

Cons

This is the most ridiculous place I've EVER worked! Firstly, you are micromanaged down to the MINUTE. Yes, you must punch in and punch out. The turn over rate is ridiculous. A 'tenured' employee here is considered 2-3 years. I've been here for 11 months, I've had not ONE meeting with my manager to discuss my progress or career development. Out of 11 months, I got ONE email saying I did a good job, and that was during my training period. The pay is laughable. A .60 pay increase is considered good. LOL! Management talks to you like you're absolute TRASH. Oh yea, and not to mention, they are offshoring a few departments in a couple months. To the Philippines. This place is terrible.
