Pros

Ability to work from home; flexible hours as long as the work gets done

Cons

The company culture has ceased to exist. The general consensus after the acquisition is that you are waiting to get laid off. New senior management claims to be interested in morale and culture but the feedback goes unchanged. It has become a toxic environment with no one to advocate for the little people.

Pros

Compensation was market rate and the flexible hours and ability to work from home when needed were two of the very few things that are positives of working at the company and the only things that are keeping me there.

Cons

The company has seen a radical shift in culture, primarily a result of HR "leadership" and acquisition of the behemoth that is Pearson. The unique corporate culture used to be one the companies biggest assets and now it is by far its biggest weakness. Personal vendetta's were the core reason for virtually all of the male senior management to be driven out of the company and replaced with an all female management team. The gender bias that has plagued this company for the last 18 months is palpable to anyone and everyone with two eyes. All departments were impacted negatively by the Pearson purchase and were downsized with the exception of HR. That department continues to grow in size for reasons unknown to everyone at the company and is by far the biggest source of water cooler talk on an almost daily basis.

Pros

Good work/life balance, No one will force you to work on weekends normally. Free Cab facility available to all major destinations in the city.

Cons

The employees are treated like slaves to the HQ office. and the offshore management will blindly follow them. The management will come with organizational and process changes frequently regardless its useful or not .Hell lot of politics and you will get sick of that. The compensation to the lower level employees are very very less. You don't even know how your performance is measured. No transparency on anything. The HR people don't know anything other than recruitment and once you are in they don't even know that you exist. No job security. I have seen people disappearing from the office suddenly. If the senior management don't like you , then you are screwed. !!
