Pros

First off, i'm so glad I'm out.Diverse resources, esp engineers. Their MVP-ny insurance is good and that's about it.

Cons

They first of all low ball everyone. everyone comes here except those newyorkers to retire..but they leave the company after two year relo contracts. My management didn't want me to participate in training classes after i was hired, I had no training at all but worked so hard to bother everyone near me to find out ways to get through. Their oracle purchasing system is so weird and it is so complicated and takes so long to be approved, PAIN! No interactions with your managers but they always CHECK to make sure you are working! Way tooooo many meetings each day. it's insane. They want you to fill their available positions where they failed. Their parking lot is a joke. The most ridiculous parking lot ever seen in my whole life, even shopping mall parking lots during thanksgiving are better than here. If ur an equipment engineer, you will get so much stressed out just because of your equipment keep failing every time!!!

Pros

Many people sharing the same pain. Great for bonding, Upstate NY is beautiful.

Cons

I do the same work as the men in my department, HR told me a fairytale of how they are held accountable by NY state and experience, education... so they could not adjust my pay. HR rep said there would be ANOTHER task force put together to review. Which after a call to the NYS labor department I found out was a lie. There is no state law holding your pay to your education. We have Principle, Senior, Associate techs all doing the same work and pay varies by $15 per hour. No levels in the work but huge difference in the pay. Our newest member (a man) is making $8 more than me because HR determined his Associates Degree was more technical than mine. I have 5 years experience in semiconductors. He has 2 weeks and I am training him. Makes no sense. How about you base the pay on the employee and how they benefit the company. If HR is talking, its a lie.
