Pros

You get to work with really smart, friendly people, from around the world learning from people who are really experienced and knowledgeable about the industry and tendencies State of the art offices Some really good benefits Relocation opportunities They are really, really flexible Great work-life balance Competitive salaries Advancement and training opportunities are available

Cons

...Sometimes a little too flexible They have been cutting down in benefits Some projects are horrible, and if you happen to land in a horrible project it's not easy to leave it, they tell you you can, but when you try, the PM team will blackmail you into staying, often threatening with a bad PA should you decide to change the project There are sites were you will have to be part of the cool kid table (often times the friends of the city "champion" ) to have a good time, if you happen to become an outsider you will definitely have a bad time Often times personal stuff tends to have more leverage than actual laboral stuff (you can low-effort your way through a project and come unharmed, but if you happen to have a personal beef with someone with a slight amount of power in the company, you're toast!) The operations team is the weakest link in this company

Pros

Flexible work environment and exposure to different businesses.

Cons

Management is very weak for remote groups. Salary is below market. Career advancement is non existent. Globant hasn't invested enough time, money, or thought in strategies for cultivating their staff. If you just got into the job market and have never had experience working on enterprise projects, you might consider taking on a role at Globant for the experience, but plan on staying no longer than 1.5 years or it may be bad for your long term career growth.
