Pros

The Development and the Delivery team who work at Globant are really smart and intelligent people

Cons

the management team and their practices are really unethical. that's all I need to say. They constantly put the sales guy under pressure to sale, and provide unrealistic quota; the development team are way over worked and under paid; they just stick around due to their visa status, and having the opportunity to leave Argentina.

Pros

- Nice big clients and top notch projects to work on - Good benefits like full cost of insurance totally paid by the company - 100.00 USD stipend monthly to get nice equipment to WFH

Cons

- Only Argentinians people on directive roles, no opportunity to get a high role if you are not from Argentina - Very difficult to get a raise

Pros

Company is innovative and spending crazy money to try to get awareness. That’s about it.

Cons

There are a lot. - Management in the marketing org is wholly incompetent from the top down. - There are no annual or merit increases. The entire time I worked there, I got zero raises and when I asked for one, I was gaslighted into thinking it wasn’t a normal thing to get even a cost of living increase. - They are dialing back benefits and health insurance is getting crazy expensive. - Coworkers in Argentina are all “yes” people because they are perpetually scared for their jobs. - Globant moves Argentine nationals on H1B visas to the US for any management position that becomes available. - Their growth is purely inorganic and they mess up every single acquisition they make - they lose/fire the employees then lose the clients. It is only a matter of time before investors catch on to this and dump Globant completely.
