Pros

Coming from a very abusive employment arrangement, the atmosphere at GoCo is fantastic. Very open and helpful, title doesn’t matter when trying to get work done. The opportunities for promotion are abundant and clearly defined with new roles coming into play frequently. Benefits of a large company with the atmosphere of a small company

Cons

Communication on the sales side has taken a dip recently. With the team growth and some abrupt terminations it seems like the management structure needs some building up to accommodate the growth and changes. Fortunately that seems to be getting put in place currently but it does have some lag time behind it. Pay (particularly base) is also pretty low compared to the rest of the industry and even competitors and there has not been any cost of living increase despite rampant inflation - which isn’t their fault but when pay is already low employees really start to hurt
