OK for a summer job

Pros

I got to meet new people with interesting backgrounds. The job was easy and not labor-intensive. I always got scheduled to work 30-34 hours a week. It was an okay summer job.

Cons

High turn-over rate - the managers were constantly interviewing people for food preparation, chefs, and dishwashers. Alot of the other employees didn't like working there and would complain about management or other workers. I was only there for the summer, but heard alot about the drama between some of the full-time employees. I think most people worked there because it was a job, not because they loved it.

Pros

the costumers were friendly. the same people usually came in

Cons

employes are treated inappropriate by manager. Assistant manager directs harshly with profanity, lots of work little pay , low class environment, never ending cleaning tables because it's a buffet.

Pros

The flexibility of schedule. Sometimes the management team is very understanding.

Cons

Starting out as a fun place to work, once the new management team took over, working there has been absolutly horrible. A typical day consists of as soon as you show up, putting your face to the plow in the busyness of the restaurant and working your tail off for 8 hours straight without a break, and then going home. If you want to eat (provided theres time, i.e. its slow and they want to save on labor), you have to pay for the food 50% off, which is somewhat understandable, but when you've worked 8 hours straight, with no break, no good job, and 4 complaining nitpicking, hypocritical bosses, all for anywhere from minimum wage to $10.00 an hour...i think you deserve a freaking meal! All in all at the end of the day and when you get your paycheck, you feel overworked, understaffed, underpaid, and all together like a SLAVE! Not a good place to work for period.
