Hard work, lots of learning, optimistic

Pros

It’s a fun product to sell with a very exciting roadmap. We sell in a competitive space that changes a lot, but it feels like every competitor is trying to play catch-up and are on their heels. Some competitors appear to be in real trouble. I’ve learned a ton and am a way better seller than when I joined. Leadership is very involved in team selling, which can be a lot at times when it’s an important deal, but is also helpful. Its been a difficult selling environment since last summer, but overall I’m optimistic.

Cons

There is a lot to learn and it can be a grind. SDR org has underperformed all year and you have to build most of your own pipeline. Mid-Market went through a lot of changes this year that improved performance but culture took a hit. Enterprise is going through similar changes and a lot of AEs and leaders quit or were let go. Organizational culture is good, but if your remote you can feel like your on an island.

Pros

Good pay if you hit quota, smartest people in the biz, cool product, incredible learning opportunities

Cons

Heavy grind, hard market, super competitive, not all managers coach, culture doesn’t exist if you are remote, expectations aren’t sustainable, lots of people leaving
