      Pros

      Great people: I get to work with truly amazing people with great personalities. I also really admire our co-founders and how they run the business. Great product: Gong’s products are the leaders in the field with superb brand recognition. Lots of interesting and cutting edge developments going on. Great potential: With the launch of the new product, I think Gong really has a chance to become a highly successful and stable company

      Cons

      Culture fit: There is definitely a Gong culture that is not for everyone. Just look at our website and social media pages to get the vibe. Work-Life Balance: or really the lack thereof. Many reasons for inefficiencies but because I am supporting the sales team I have to oblige. WLB really depends on your manager and head of group but for me personally environment is not there to set my boundaries. This is not sustainable and one of the main reasons I am seeking a role outside Gong. Favoritism: From getting offered quality work assignments to ultimate financial rewards (promotions, raises, bonuses and prizes) you know the favorites who get the glory. Some do deserve it I guess because I see them working ALL THE TIME. But others who also work just as hard (sadly there are so many because people are short staffed) never really get the recognition. At a crossroad: Now is a crucial time for Gong to either make or break it. Successful launch of the new product will definitely let Gong fly to infinity and beyond. If Gong does not succeed, there are plenty of competitors out there who will overtake with their cheaper options.

      Pros

      -World class sales training on deal execution -great product Not much else other than that.

      Cons

      If you’re considering working here make sure you’re okay with always being on edge. Treat it as an opportunity to get great sales training and land a (better) more stable role in SaaS after. They let a lot of talented reps go here within the first 6 months, don’t be surprised if that’s you. Highly dependent on management, and your book of business. There is preferential treatment and reps that are more well liked by director and above will get better opps funneled to them. Oh and morale is LOW outside of a few rah-rah folks trying their best to pick spirits up. It’s more everyone for themselves than their “win as a team” mantra. -revolving door -product of over hiring and unattainable numbers -only as good as your last week -the definition of a “pressure cooker” sales job.
