Product is incredible. I recently moved on from Gong after 4.5 years and I deeply miss having access to it so yeah, the product is killer and every org should have it. People are great and I consider many of these brilliant driven folks my good friends. Talented SDR’s and cross functional teams from value engineering, ABM, services / education to legal and security. LEGAL was incredible. How often do we say that? There were times where we’d have dozens of hands on deck to help close business. Pay - there are reps making milli plus commissions, sales is celebrated and presidents clubs were lit. Support from the executive teams to help close business is strong. Gongs CEO Amit is a great person. He’s kind, generous, understanding and truly cares about the success of their clients. The CTO is brilliant and honest; a visionary who will continue to make huge industry impacts through his career. It was an honor to see them create a category.

Cons

Many of the cons are typical for companies in this stage of their existence. Really difficult for sales to keep up with playbooks, messaging, and internal operational changes. It’s exhausting. While this was the most rewarding gig I’ve had, it was also the most challenging resulting in long work days, weekends, and health concerns. If you want to work here make sure you bring your grit. You’ll be required to hustle but the reward will be worth it. Gong will be a billi business soon.

Great product, amazing culture! I've had several managers and all of them were dynamite. It also feels like the leadership team actually has a pulse on what's going on in the marketplace.

Cons

Selling into a mainly tech sales ICP has been really tough. Very high standard of selling performance - mostly all self-sourced and we're the premium in the marketplace

Pros

Company has good benefits, overall culture of the company is decent and people are trying to do the right thing.

Cons

Pay scales are not comparable to tech industry in high cost areas, it can be difficult to collaborate with some teams due to timezones. Some of the senior leadership staff are new to being in a senior leadership role; that can be a pro and a con at the same time.
