Pros

Great leadership, transparency, supportive and inclusive environment, win as a team environment. I couldn't be happier working at Gong. An amazing company

Cons

No negatives. Being remote would be the only downfall, but I chat with my team daily and leadership is working on planning team trips.

Pros

Best product in the market, best rated, higher HPS score than even Apple. Top of G2 and by industry analysts by a mile. Customers love Gong and become raving fans. The pillars are strong here. i.e. Engineering keeps building valuable elements of the platform and they fit well with an impressive CEO vision for where we are going. The very nature of Gong's platform is making us all sharper and better at what we do. Countless top tier sellers here. There is no place to hide here, be A++ or find mediocrity somewhere else. I like this standard and believe in the operating principles. I am fortunate to work for the most skilled and most genuine manager I have ever had in my 15+ year selling career. Executives here give a damn, listen, take ownership, make things happen, and work hard. I've rarely seen this in my career, love it. We hire good, very humble, likable people here. 1:1 ISR relationship is incredible. I am humbled to be here and thankful for the value of what Gong offers. As a seller this is making me better everyday at what I do. CEO seems great, very mindful and aware executive team.

Cons

#1-Between industry comparison and hyper inflation the base salary is due for a significant bump. #2-Operational teams + Management need to do better at vetting and creating fairly equal territories. Today the more tenured reps clearly have far stronger accounts. This is not uncommon, but knowing we pride ourselves on equal pay across teams one would think we also value striving for more equal opportunity within account lists. The disproportion is obvious. This is one of the most challenging account lists I have had in my career. Up for the challenge though and there is lots of opportunity to make things happen still, its just not as attractive as it likely would be in a more balanced setting. #3- It would be efficient to hire more people to help support a more systematic approach to pilots. Running these is cumbersome on time management for AE's at present. #4- AE's do not start with any existing customers. This is not uncommon, but that would be beneficial to learning and early stage upsell earnings.
