do not care about employees

Pros

discounts to stores are nice.

Cons

Constantly short on staff due to DON and manager skills. Headquarters/managers did not care about employees, only profit. Floor staff cut extremely short, causing poor care to the clients. Low pay. Constant double shifts due to people quitting. Difficulty having family time due to this. Also, never knew what the rules were as thing kept changing daily (especially scheduling and no time off requests allowed)

Pros

chatting with the residents and being there to help out, has birds, most of the staff/coworkers are friendly um.. that all i can really think of oh one supervisor in the kitchen is very nice, fair and deserves to be boss someday.

Cons

the pay-never got no evaulations, the center would rather waste money on projects, the mangement makes you do a lot of work in so little time and makes you do all the work by yourself, i got no breaks, cut hours back to the people who have work there a long time to hire new ones and give them all the hours, etc,etc............................................

Pros

Always have the option of shifts to pick up. Decent pay. Ability to cross train in departments. Benefits are reasonable.

Cons

Always understaffed, lack of cooperation from coworkers, unrealistic expectations of management, management more concerned with budget rather than quality of care, management is not knowledgeable of what is occurring in own departments. The resident care is severely lacking. The number of "good, caring" nurses and nursing assistants can NOT make up for the slack that the "poor" nurses and nursing assistants leave behind. Management
