Pros
The residents were wonderful there. Even though some were senile, others treated me like family. The hiring process was fast and easy. I had an 2 interviews and was hired within a week and started the following week.
Cons
Terrible coworkers- My manager never bothered to sit down and have a face to face conversation about my hours after 2 weeks of working there. Instead would contact my other coworkers as to what my hours would be from day to day. From day one I was expected to remember every single detail about each of the residents likes and dislikes during their meal time, including what specific drinks they like to drink at each meal. After two days I was pushed around and scolded about not remembering the detailed list of each resident. Another thing was the CNA's talked down to me like they were better and wouldn't allow me to talk to any of the residents.
