Not the best for employees

Pros

There was always training to do on the computer. Benefits are fair.

Cons

The pay is really low. McDonald's pays better. There needs to be better orientation. I hated that overtime is mandatory. It is hard to get any time off.

Pros

Christian mission and vision. Source of employment in many smaller communities.

Cons

Top heavy in executive management. Compensation is not based on merit and does not reward some of the lowest paid, hardest working employees.

Pros

Pay is average The chance to meet and get to know the residents is good

Cons

Complete lack of care from the administrative staff, including DON, about the concerns of every shift, not simply day shift. Severe under staffing, due to the incredible shortcomings of Administrators, makes it very hard to keep residents safe. (One single CNA can not possibly handle thirty residents on their own) Nurses are not held to a higher standard as far as contributing to the general well being of the residents beyond simple med pass. General lack of concern for the safety of employees as well.
