Good place to work if pay not important

Pros

Great staff and residents, flex time, superb training opportunities, caring environment, hometown and family feeling, Christ and resident centered care.

Cons

part time, rural location with hefty commute, low pay, no benefits, hours decrease when census decreases, people get frustrated and quit, leaving staffing gaps....which means the facility has to turn away perspective clients, leaving the census low.

Great coworkers, hours, and pay

Pros

The best thing about working at Good Samaritan to me is how willing my supervisor and everyone in human resources are to work with me. However, all of the employees are very accepting and will take you under their wing. Good pay for a part time job and flexible hours.

Cons

Patients! They can be extremely sweet or extremely hard to deal with. It takes practice and thick skin.
