It's a love/hate relationship

Pros

I love the people I work for to help and some of the people I work with. They give you the experience you need and they will even put you through the CNA classes.

Cons

The people who have been there for a long time walk around the place like they own it and don't feel they have help you or anyone for that matter. They take extra time on their breaks when there's a lot going on and then sit and chart for another however long after that ungodly long break. Then when you bring it up to management nothing happens. There is no teamwork. When you need a shift covered good luck getting anyone to help you out! There's a lot of gossip at this place too so don't make one wrong move or you will be the new subject of discussion.

I liked the flexible scheduling (worked well around school), minimum supervision (I was trusted to work alone in the evenings, after most employees were gone), and the routine of the job. I knew what to expect every day going in, for the most part. I also liked that I had the opportunity to pick up hours sometimes. The management I interacted with was very caring.

Cons

I really don't have anything bad to say about this job.
