The Best I've Worked For

Pros

My situation is a bit different, I work remotely rather than onsite so my perspective is a bit different. First off, the first GREAT impression was that when I offered a position, I ran into some personal issues that made it difficult for me to move. The fact they carved out a solution was already a win in my book. But moving onto the review... The work life balance is INSANE. And by insane, I mean INSANELY good. Everyone seems to respect that you need to take time to go to the doctor or pick up kids from school or just not wanting to deal with traffic (I don't have that problem). Nobody bats an eye if you feel sick and you want to go home early; I love that trust. The other great thing is that GoodRx hires what I call "Aggressively Nice" people. Everyone is super smart and super nice, I remember telling people at the job fair that the nice:smart ratio is a solid 1:1 and everybody is SUPER smart. I visit the offices from time to time and nobody treats me as some weird remote worker, I've actually made some *actual* friends despite being remote 99% of the time. I can't tell how many times I just ran into a person when visiting only to chat and lose track of time. Managers take the time to do 1:1 and make sure you're on track and performing well. I'm a rapid feedback person, so I appreciate the time managers and coworkers take time out of their day to do a 1:1 when I visit. Managers are also transparent when they feel like they drop the ball on something and vocalize that they are working on fixing things. I've had managers who feel like they could do no wrong, so I have much respect for that. Also lots of dogs. And a VERY active cat slack channel, so ++

Cons

Besides the typical growing pains that's been pointed out by past reviews. The only con is that I wish I can make more trips out to SM or SF, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
