When I started, I had over 30 companies I could quote with. Before I stopped, I only had 3-5 I could quote with. Before I started, I was told I could sell in California since I have that license. Once I signed on, I was told I was not allowed. I was also told I could sell commercial (that was my background). Once I signed on, I was told I was not allowed. If it is not specified in the contract, It is not allowed! I got the short end of the stick with these guys. The franchise fees and the technology fees are ridiculous. As my CPA said, Borderline illegal. I stayed with them for a year. They have flooded the market with owners as well as corporate employees going after the same customers. It's doggy dog. I would have been better off franchising a fast food restaurant.
