Pros

The students are in need of someone to care for them. The school administrators will help when you bring them an issue. The job is challenging due to so many needs, but if you have a heart for teaching you can really make a difference. Just make sure that you ask for help when you need it.

Cons

The unpredictable actions of the students.

Pros

PTO, flexibility, resources to support clients. There are some staff that really care for the clients and will go the extra mile to support them.

Cons

Company culture is poor. Leadership does not know how to motivate and support their staff. There is no incentive to do your best work. Terrible staff are making the same pay or more than staff who actually care for the kids.

Pros

Management and staff provide effective, first-time training to those interested in psychology, therapy, criminal justice, and health. Very in-depth experience in behavioral health.

Cons

Often times not very organized, lack of communication and organizing. Safety is often at risk since work is with multiple clients at once, and you will occasionally have to work alone. Questionable about whether some clients should even be placed under treatment there.
