Pros

Talented, stable work force. Made life as a manager a dream.

Cons

Very frugal in R&M spend. Worked on 12 - 1 month budgets. If you produced well you spent to budget. If you had a bad month you spent to absorbsion. Always robbing Peter to pay Paul when it came to the equipment.

Pros

Decent compensation, if you were hired before all of the downsizing and layoffs.

Cons

The company has zero desire to give it's employees a work/life balance. Almost no warning with schedule changes, They care more about reducing costs than they do about maintaining quality employees and safety. Lots of downsizing and laying off. Management treats employees like slaves/numbers rather than people. Nowadays with all of the downsizing and lean manufacturing, they would now rather hire temps and people who barely speak english and are not qualified for the job, who accept less pay. Instead of qualified, skilled, natural born American citizens. Feminists run the front office and the corporate HR department. Hardcore favoritism is favored towards non US born employees and women. The Bedford, NH plant will shutdown, it's just a matter of time.
