Pros

They are a good distributor of industrial supplies. They have a good selection, value proposition, and good availability. The branch employees are very helpful, much better than retail employees.

Cons

If you work in sales, your territory can be switched or changed without you given the chance to provide input. They don't share their costs with the sales representatives, so you don't know the margins. Also, if you try to make suggestions to improve the company, you will likely be ignored.

Pros

Depending on the department, this is an excellent company. Great benefits, profit sharing, good opportunity for cross training and hands on experience

Cons

Interview a few employees before jumping into a role within a department that has grown up with the company. New comers are not readily accepted unless you start off as a yes man from the get go. There is a lot of back biting and not little credit given for a job well done. A VERY tough group in HQ!

Pros

The work is very engaging and the company is very progressive. If you are looking to learn about business this is a great company to work for. They are always looking for new ways to do things and they do a good job of developing their employees. Their tuition reimbursement program is also good, so take advantage of it.

Cons

They often reorg their company so don't get too attached to your co-workers. It is hard sometimes to be as agile as the company would like you to be, so be sure to be ready for a lot of change.
