Management doesn't have a clue what they are doing and everyone tries to kiss Brian Mueller’s butt. When I was first hired, management kept talking about the other place in which they were referring to University of Phoenix and how they are not like them, but my question is how are you not like them when 95% of your workforce came from there?

After numerous years of service and submitting two weeks, gcu decided to get rid of me immediately. Thankfully I had savings, I had hundreds of hours of PTO given my dedication to the role, however, due to their impossible goals and idiotic leadership, I was forced to work myself to death. They understand no one wants this job, turnover is incredibly high, and managers are babysitters that tend to be temperamental and racist. I've never been so depressed in my life working there and many of my comrades that have escaped still suffer from the treatment and unattainable goals that are given to counselors. If you are thinking about this job, work anywhere else, gcu is poisonous, and will dehumanize you endlessly in order for a budget to be met. Working there has been the worst time of my life and I'm incredibly grateful that I've escaped, my colleagues that still work there are on anti-depressants to cope with the fear and brutality of the job.
