Very low pay. Company is doing everything it can to cut costs in the short term at the expense of the long term. Has shifted to a yearly promotion schedule which will probably push talented and ambitious individuals away. Lots of layoffs last year where valuable people had no notice that they lost their job and were not treated with dignity. Upper management acted like nothing happened, didn't acknowledge it at all, and didn't allow any questions. Managers don't know the jobs of the people they manage, which creates unrealistic expectations and few acknowledgement of contributions. Some of acquisitions of smaller companies, whose products are honestly just not that good.

Pay is severely below market, and varies dramatically without any logical reason. Leadership is ignorant and dismissive of employee concerns about compensation, morale, and product issues. Leadership is willing to "listen" and make "pledges" but unwilling to make any meaningful changes. Many people stay until their 401k vests then leave to make way more money elsewhere, so there's a department-wide lack of product knowledge.
