Pros

Absolutely nothing good about working here besides the off chance you get good teammates that you can drown your sorrows with

Cons

- upper management is about as old school as it gets. Absolutely no change to any operations. Promotions and movement in the company is an absolute joke. It's almost like your bosses are trying to keep you at the lowest level possible. - compensation is comical. for people looking for a job here, just know you can look on any job site (LinkedIN, indeed, etc) and find better paying jobs that are way better for you and your work life. I started at 50k and after 2 years my raise was about 4%.... absolute JOKE - it is quite literally an advanced call center. You are sitting at your desk replying to emails and picking up customer calls all day. (usually 2-5 a day... at the least). There is no culture or work environment benefit as the office is about as dull and sad as it comes. - the work is harder than what you're getting out of the company. They might trick the employees and bring food trucks or dessert on a Friday to ease the pain... but just know the job is not worth what you're getting paid for... like i mentioned above, you can easily find a better job if you just use your eyes - They might mention that this job is 'hybrid'. Lets just say if you work remotely one day a week... if you try and work from home/remotely another day after that, you will be written up or forced to take PTO, no matter what the scenario is. Seriously, run away from this company. People use it to get experience but it is never worth your time unless you live with a caretaker and your bills are at a minimum.

Pros

Too few to mention, this place is a pit. Only thing i can say positively is at the end of the day you get to go home

Cons

Incredible amounts of chaos, the only time supervisors talk to you is to scold you, which happens often because the only way you learn is by making mistakes that blow up in your face because you werent aware of a special condition, or any other highly specific reason. And believe me they will catch it and will give you hell for it, as there are 3 sets of eyes carefully watching you at all times. HR doesnt give a care at all if we are handed work outside our job description (usually in the form of overflow calls from departments that fall in a completely separate scope of work) and dismisses us as "we dont actually do that much were just intake". The company is also looking to merge two departments and joining our job descriptions yet keeping our pay and benefits the same. Beware this company like the plague, it will take your sanity and wont pay you enough to justify it.

Classic Privately Held Chaos

Pros

The company grows and moves rapidly, which creates opportunities for people to grow (or burn out) quickly. This is a strong Sales organization that will always clearly place the bottom line first.

Cons

The Org's leaders hold themselves to a low bar of leadership, and that culture trickles all the way down. My own leadership team seemed so overwhelmed that they simply could not keep track of all the threats and ultimatums they had made. The organization makes attempts at compliance with legal requirements and ethical norms but is happy to ignore those when convenient. Granite will fully expect staff to lie on their behalf. To customers, to direct reports, to other workgroups, etc. It's political and tribal. That's a good place for some people.
