Pros

Top to bottom the people are supportive, collaborative and full of positive energy. This is one of two companies in my career that are very face paced, open to innovation/modifying quickly, focus on operational excellence and efficiency while maintaining a positive and energetic culture.

Cons

We have very lean teams

Pros

Pay is higher than other corporate jobs in same industry however it does not make up for the extreme toxicity and stress at the corporate office. Benefits were comparable to other companies in same industry.

Cons

Where to begin? Atlanta corporate office is so toxic, Avoid at all costs, run the other way. White male dominated, unless you are a white or Hispanic female having an affair with a white male in a senior level position. Had several white senior males say that they liked Hispanic women in group meetings and tell crude jokes about Hispanic women. HR was informed and nothing was done. Many affairs going on in the corporate office. 2 employees, a boss and a subordinate were caught having an affair in a hotel on a business trip, HR was made aware and did nothing. People showed up drunk and hung over to work after a night of partying including managers and directors. One director fell asleep at work he was so hung over. HR made aware and did nothing. You are not allowed to keep any personal items on your desk including no family photos or any papers or folders on your desk. The CEO and VP of HR walk around several times a year and inspect desks of all employees. They then reward the office with a pizza party for having clean desks. I did not earn 2 degrees from a prestigious university and have 20+ years of professional experience not to be able to keep a simple family photo on my desk and have my desk policed by the CEO and VP of HR like I am a child or a criminal. I’ve never experienced such childish behavior at any corporate company. Upon joining the company I was given instructions on acceptable and unacceptable ways to close the blinds in the conference rooms??!! They have policies for everything yet allow affairs of high level employees with other lower level employees. Other craziness that occurred at corporate while I was there - A disgruntled employee pooped in the garbage can in the room that is supposed to be reserved for people with medical conditions that require an employee to have privacy such as for migraines and breast feeding. A baby was found in a locked car in the parking lot on a hot summer day and reported by an employee and management refused to call 911 and the situation went on for over 30 minutes with the child crying in the hot locked car and the employee who reported it was openly harassed in the office by the office manager for trying to take a baby away from its mother. This was not too long after a child died in the Home Depot corporate parking lot and was all over the news, so you think the company would want to protect itself not to mention rescue a child??!! This is the most bizarre and toxic company I have ever worked for. Anyone who speaks up is immediately fired. Avoid at all costs.

Pros

Plenty of opportunities for overtime. Good pay for the area. Decent work schedule. Insurance and 401k.

Cons

Management has to micromanage everyone. Not enough emphasis on training new employees. Management receives bonuses but not hourly employees. You have to be a "Yes" person to get promoted. Employees are constantly told conflicting orders on quality or not told anything at all for several hours. Management takes too long to hire new employees if they get shortstaffed.
