You need to be good at playing the "suck up" game in order to get ahead. I worked hard, but it didn't matter. I was troubled to hear about an offensive comment made by a Senior Officer in another unit regarding a specific religion (of which there were a few who were employed by the Company). Apparently this was tolerated. I got bored, figured i stayed too long and it was time to leave.

Some members of management are out of touch and dishonest. Outsourcing several jobs to offshore for less money, displacing many long time loyal employees, with no regard to loyalty. Work life balance used to be important.
