Pros

Beautiful office and great workout facility with trainers

Cons

From a business perspective, the senior management have turned a blind eye to illegal business practice as well as the inappropriate abusive behavior of the middle management. The turn over is horrendous due primarily to the above mentioned non-specific details. Regarding the illegal practice, for two years the company has been promoting the sale of equipment insurance through a "partner" companies' website, instaCover which supports unlicensed employees selling insurance. Two years ago, GAI corporate legal made them aware that they do NOT support this activity however, senior management's focus was and still is making a quick buck! Without the instaCover relationship the division will have a large financial deficit. Regarding the inappropriate behavior of the middle management, on a regular basis there are demeaning disrespectful verbal abuses that take place. This behavior happens from male middle management and is directed toward female employees. Additionally, There is a huge inequality relative to women in management positions compared to men within GAI. In other words, this organization is a true Boys Club! When concerns or issues are presented by women, the men turn a blind eye and the corporate HR focuses solely on protecting the company.

Pros

Employees spent time getting to know me as an intern and I received thorough instruction and training from my supervisor and coworkers. It was a great experience to introduce me to the corporate world.

Cons

It was only a summer internship. My particular job didn't expand upon the initial job duties
