Pros

Historically had a strong culture of employee advocacy. Good benefits for those in established roles.

Cons

Homogeneous Leadership: There is a visible "glass ceiling" for anyone who doesn't fit the specific demographic of the current executive team. The lack of diversity in thought and background is directly impacting the company’s ability to innovate. Meritocracy Concerns: Promotion cycles often feel like they favor internal "boys' club" networking over actual KPIs or qualifications. This has led to a layer of middle and upper management that lacks the technical or strategic expertise to course-correct. Executive Disconnect: While the company loses market share and profits dwindle, leadership appears insulated by significant compensation packages and bonuses. There is a palpable shift from "taking care of the people" to "protecting the executive interests".

Pros

It's hard to list any pros because they are all disappearing. This used to be a good company to work for, but now it is not.

Cons

The culture used to be amazing, but now it is collapsing. Work/life balance used to be prioritized, but that's gone too. Merit based advancement has disappeared, and all confidence in leadership has waned. Good leaders are retiring and incompetent leaders are taking their place.

Pros

Good Benefits - Gym in building, Gym discount, Matching 401 Good location - Easy to get to either driving or via Metro bus

Cons

BAIT & SWITCH JOB RECRUITMENT: Presented the job posting as a "Corporate Regulatory Paralegal." The offer letter stated a different title - something like "Business Analyst" which the recruiter advised to ignore, she said it was just an internal systems title. However, when I actually started, I learned that the Company did not have a "Corporate Regulatory Paralegal" career path and that I was actually some form of Business Analyst under Administrative Assistant track. NO OPPORTUNITY FOR PROMOTION OR CAREER PROGRESSION: Unless you are one/two of the following: #1 Married into the Lindner or Meuthing family #2 Is a white male #3 Is a pretty white blonde female VERY LOW MERIT INCREASE: When accepting an offer negotiate as high of a salary as possible because you will pretty much stay there. The merit increases doesn't even cover annual cost of living increase.
