We appreciate your feedback on our schools. We pride ourselves on having a caring environment that fosters a love of learning which supports students learning through a classical liberal art education and great books curriculum. We are aware of concerns with respect to the salary. We have been working to address this issue for several years despite no significant funding increases from the states in which we operate. Great Hearts does provide excellent benefits (medical, dental, etc.), with employee premiums that are significantly below the national and regional averages. As a result of these efforts, we have recently updated our salary schedule and increased our compensation levels for our teachers in 2024-2025. Also, we believe in ongoing training with our teachers before school begins each summer as well as ongoing professional development. We provide mentors and lead teachers / department leads who help new teachers as they start at new schools. Training is key to help our teachers become the best for our students. We take our training seriously and continue to encourage our teachers to be life-long learners. Training happens every summer and through-out the year.
