We value constructive feedback which we review for consideration. We strive to have a great learning environment for our students and support our faculty and staff. We know there are areas of improvement and are working on these areas. We are sorry that this was your experience at one of our schools. We are very grateful for our hard working teachers and are working on ways to best support and honor our teachers. We appreciate your input on this issue, and we have in recent years made it our goal to eliminate the non-essential burdens on teachers. We have also recently worked to improve our compensation package for all of our hard working teachers and staff. As as a result, we have recently reviewed and increased our salary for the 2024-2025 school year. Again, thank you for your feedback and we ask you share your concerns with management.

Thank you for providing us with feedback. We pride ourselves on fostering a positive working environment for our faculty and staff which supports students learning through a great books curriculum. We continue to make improvements to hiring ESS teachers and coordinators. In recent years, we have been impacted by the shortages in this area. As a result, we have worked to have special training / PD for our teachers and are working to improve how we support our ESS teachers and staff. We are aware of concerns with respect to the salary scale for teachers and teaching assistants at Great Hearts. We have been engaged in ongoing work on this issue for several years despite no significant funding increases from the states in which we operate. Great Hearts does provide excellent benefits (medical, dental, etc.), with employee premiums that are significantly below the national and regional averages. As a result of these efforts, we have recently updated our salary schedule and increased our compensation levels starting this summer and in the fall of 2024.
