Pros

The job is Union, although you need to put in the work to get seniority/postings for position. Pay is decent for the area but with inflation and cost of living, it might not be up to par to some employees life situations. Once you are in a posted position you can move to any other buildings, which helps with work not being so monotonous. I feel like management does care truly about th safety of employees, as long as you follow the proper lock-out tag out procedures. If you can't be safe at work there's no point in having quality products. When it's unsafe don't do it and let the team lead or supervisor know that you won't be doing what is asked until it's fixed.

Cons

Vacation/PTO is trash. Vacation scheduling is also kind of trash too not sure if it's because it's based on total workers on all shifts taking off on the day of, instead of total workers on the same shift on the day of. This means that in order to get the days you want off you have to be the top of the seniority list. No sick days without getting a strike on attendance or using PTO. Some buildings might have a bad work environment ie; gossiping, lazy co-workers, lack of work/overtime opportunities. Greenheck management doesn't seem to promote/want to keep this place a Union, we past and present Union members built this company too.
