      - coworkers are smart dedicated and collaborative - people do care about the mission - interesting projects

      Cons

      - Shaky execution of strategic vision - lacks sophisticated ways of working for a company of this size, leading to last minute changes, constantly shifting timelines, blame shifting, and in my opinion lackluster final products - three layoffs in two years decimated ability to work effectively.

      Pros

      quarterly onsite events, and engineering maturity in specific org units (data, infraops).

      Cons

      Not all of Engineering org is at the same maturity level. Product leads the company and engineering scrambles to solve for the near impossible to deliver. High pressure, low pay reward for delivering YMMV.

      Pros

      Talented and hardworking colleagues, some work so arduously that it has cost them their health--physical, mental or otherwise. Good pay and remote work.

      Cons

      Moving engineering to India, lots of nepotism in engineering leadership with fake transparency, constantly changing priorities, loss of way by moving focus away from furthering financial literacy for kids and their families, unreasonable expectations and deadlines causing burnout (which is barely acknowledged)
