Pros
Benefits are fine. The office is nice, and quiet. Not an email heavy company and don't "do the most" with their culture (aka, respectful of time and space).
Cons
If I could describe my experience so far at Greenlight in a "feeling".... - When you mention a TV show in the group chat and 6 months later someone says "hey, have you seen that show ____?" - When someone owes you money and then you see them on Instagram at a concert. You think - give the startup/tech/Saas/ space another go. But there you are again. Suddenly realizing you're in a job you didn't sign up for. You're thrust into massive changes - which change direction every day by the way. You want to make change, but no one seems to have the answers to get you started. You're doing so much, but how would they ever know? I'm glad I kept a notebook nearby and wrote my accomplishments down daily. So when you get that one complaint from leadership per month (who, you know... thinks they understand your day to day)... You can back yourself up at the performance review they never cared to measure. But, why wait until then? Because, let's face it. Value doesn't matter anymore. Input doesn't matter anymore. Layoff or not (which I was not), you are always disposable. I am the same age as the others in my department. Arguably (and factual in some cases), I have more years of experience than them. But I'm swarmed in constant undertones of cliquey and condescending "advice and support."
