Pros

Laid back environment, friendly people, good healthcare, casual attire, lots of collaboration, minimal accountability. If you are looking for a nice friendly place to work with a really casual environment this is the place for you.

Cons

Disorganized, minimal accountability, poorly defined rolls, low wages and at best there is no communication of a long term strategy, at worst there is no long term strategy. If you are looking to work for a company that will challenge you succeed and give you the tools to do succeed, hold you accountable for your failure and reward you for your successes then this is not the company for you.

Only a brand name now, no Nashville presence.

Pros

Fantastic people, one of Nashville's earliest tech companies.

Cons

Purchase in 2016 by Irvine, CA-based Incipio Technologies was the beginning of the end. West Coast parent never quite figured out how to integrate largely overlapping product lines, sales force was largely ambivalent to Griffin-branded products, Griffin all but abandoned the innovative audio and connectivity accessories that were the company's calling card. Multiple layoffs that began in summer of 2015 (prior to purchase) culminated in October 2017 with the sudden elimination of Griffin's engineering, industrial design, product dev, sales, and marketing operations in Nashville. The remaining business (tech support call center and warehousing) closed July 31, 2018. At its height, Griffin employed more than 300 of Nashville's brightest nerds. Today, it's a fond memory of what was.
