Pros

Okay medical benefits. Only option is blue cross PPO. Good coworkers. Stable job. They have a onsite gym and cafeteria which is nice . Also have a first Friday party once a month. Commute on 580 is much better than trying to commute to the south bay or SF

Cons

Poor pay. They are not competitive with other bay area biotech jobs. No upward mobility for career. Also the way the annual reviews are constructed....there's no point in doing more than average....everyone gets the same score and same tiny pay increases (about 1.5%). Let's not mention the small bonuses. Less than 9%

Benefits and insurance are quite good.

Cons

Work/life balance is non-existent. Never enough staff to get everything done & constant complaints if people genuinely need to go into overtime to get things done. It is very frustrating.
