Pros

Employee owned company, so good job security and no chance of MBO. Really creative and innovative environment- you're made to feel encouraged rather than feel accountable. The team is fantastic and everyone seems very happy. Directors are easily approachable and there to help. Training is extensive and you are given long term support and great career opportunities. They offer an unrivaled pension plan (15%), ASM's get all the usual toys- phone, laptop, tablet, credit card and car, and a fantastic salary! The products make a difference, and are really interesting for anybody interested in construction and engineering. As an ASM you'll get to see some really cool construction projects too.

Cons

Sales areas are large, so there's a lot to manage, meaning you'll end up putting in long hours sometimes. Not really a con depending on the person but this isn't a suited and booted every day job. If you don't like working outside or getting dirty it's not for you- as an ASM you'll visit a lot of construction sites a day, whether is rain or shine.
