Pros

For such a large corporation, important decisions are made quickly without much back-and-forth. The people I've worked with are smart and great at their jobs. The corporate culture encourages sharing new ideas that will ultimately benefit Group 1's dealers. Overall vibe in the corporate office is upbeat and supportive.

Cons

Can't think of any cons.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. It genuinely made our day to read. Hearing that the culture feels upbeat and supportive, and that sharing new ideas is encouraged, means a lot, because that spirit of teamwork and open collaboration is exactly what we work to build. It's also great to know the people around you are smart and great at what they do. We're glad you're part of the team, and we're grateful to have you helping move Group 1 forward.

Pros

This role was very rewarding and an enjoyable place to work until Group1 Automotive bought out Inchcape late 2024

Cons

Changed personal, poor toxic atmosphere came into to work place, Managers that didn’t understand how the Commercial world worked, thought they can transition over from Car sites and know it all, they hated experience in the dealership, constant bullying reminding you that you are of a certain age

* Supportive team and friendly working environment. * Good opportunity to develop accounts skills and gain experience. * Variety of tasks that help build knowledge of finance processes. * Good work-life balance and stable working hours. * Opportunities for career progression and learning.

Cons

* Workload can be busy at times, but it helps develop time management skills. * Some processes could be streamlined to improve efficiency. * More training opportunities would support further development. * Communication between teams could be improved. * Greater use of automation could make processes more efficient.
