Pros

Working at Groupon as a Training Specialist has been a journey of self-reflection, growth, and continuous learning. It’s a place where you’re encouraged to explore your potential, bring creativity into your sessions, and take ownership of impactful learning experiences. The culture is collaborative and supportive, where team members are approachable, and feedback is constructive. I’ve had the opportunity to work across various projects, upskill in multiple domains, and contribute to process improvements - all of which have added to my professional growth.

Cons

However, career advancement can sometimes feel dependent on self-advocacy and visibility rather than a defined growth framework. A more structured internal mobility path would enhance clarity for those in learning and development roles. Also, some regional inconsistencies in processes can create challenges when delivering training at scale.
