Pros

- benefits and perks; free lunch and snacks. Lots of swag and great benefits all around. - Smart and dedicated people - great future for products and technology - cool facilities in palo alto

Cons

- culture is toxic. Not a lot of trust in colleagues and management and tons of management in fighting and history of bullying. Many leaders do not like each other making it hard to get work done. - work like balance in many functions is terrible. - leadership is often smart but often toxic starts from very top down. Do not appear to care about culture or employees. - very stressful environment to be in in both oncology and screening businesses

Pros

It was rewarding to help clients so they in turn can help their patients.

Cons

Poor leadership. A culture of inequity and a hostile work environment for women, which resulted in many females moving on to professional companies with significantly higher compensation and better treatment. Shortly after the mass exodus of females, toxic leaders were fired.

Pros

Work life balance, patient advocacy

Cons

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the tissue procurement procedures currently in place at Guardant Health. As a Tissue Procurement Specialist, I have encountered numerous issues that hinder the ability to effectively gather and process tissue samples. Firstly, the lack of adequate training provided to new employees is appalling. I was thrown into the role without proper guidance or support, resulting in countless errors and setbacks that could have easily been avoided with proper training. Additionally, the equipment provided for tissue procurement is outdated and often malfunctioning. This not only slows down the entire process but also jeopardizes the integrity of the samples we collect. Furthermore, the communication between departments is abysmal. There is a severe lack of coordination between the procurement team and other departments, leading to confusion, delays, and ultimately, compromised results. Overall, I am deeply disappointed with the subpar standards of tissue procurement at Guardant Health. If these issues are not addressed promptly, I fear that they will continue to negatively impact our ability to deliver quality results to potential clients.
