Pros

This company has a great culture- very authentic and positive.

Cons

The 401k match isn't as high as other larger companies, but pay is fine.

Pros

Ability to work remote, nothing else.

Cons

After ensuring employees they would not be doing 2020 pandemic layoffs, they randomly started to fire people with little explanation. It happened to several people. Highly suspicious, likely to avoid the expenses of layoffs. This company is dishonest. Regarding the actual job, I was overworked and the company was understaffed. Managers are super cliquey and have favorites. Company culture was nonexistent. I dreaded every day I went to work. I am happy I am gone.

Pros

Working at Guardian Life does have its positives, including strong technology that supports daily operations and innovation. The company is filled with good, hardworking people who contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment. Additionally, the 401(k) plan is competitive, offering a solid benefit for employees planning for their future.

Cons

Working at Guardian Life has been challenging due to the overwhelming amount of change occurring within the company. There has been constant turnover in leadership, leading to instability and uncertainty. Employees are being forced back into the office, which has caused frustration, especially in light of poor leadership and a lack of clear direction. The frequent restructuring and ongoing layoffs have further contributed to an unsettled work environment, leaving many employees feeling uncertain about the future.
