Pros

Potentially a paycheck (no guarantee)

Cons

Underwriting is a disaster, management doesn’t even understand their products, they push selling policies even if it’s the worst option for the client!

Pros

the salary was largely competitive.

Cons

Operations support partners are expected to work perpetually, entertaining the ill-informed whims of leadership; rather than trusting the expertise of those partners. Over-reliance on consulting firms for advice those same partners could provide, if asked.
