Cons

Significant deficiency in leadership and prevalence of favoritism is evident within the organization. The leadership primarily recruits individuals from their personal networks in previous companies, creating an environment of limited engagement and diminished employee morale. It is crucial to be cautious as there is a high likelihood of job outsourcing to India. The notion of diversity is regrettably undermined, with a mere 15 employee resource groups existing at Guardian, which, given the circumstances, are insufficient. While commendable that there are such groups, their potential is not effectively harnessed due to the inadequate knowledge and expertise demonstrated by the leadership. It is imperative for the company to undertake meaningful actions that substantiate the merits of the acclaimed diversity "rewards" they boast about. A wakeup call is in order. The organization must instigate a comprehensive transformation in its treatment of all employees, ensuring that each individual is granted the respect they duly deserve, rather than solely focusing on relationships with favored individuals.
