Pros

Salaries are typically generous. PTO going away for exempt employees in 2022. Benefits are very good.

Cons

Frequent and recent executive leadership changes have destroyed the culture and morale. Significant layoffs, remaining staff absorbs the work of 2-3 FTEs. Long-term remote workers (pre-Covid) being forced into offices. All senior level titles being revoked to generic “Head”, Lead” tiles (previous VPs).

Pros

some interesting benefits, some opportunity to work remote,

Cons

Weak management and leadership with many lacking common sense. Always bringing in management from the outside, with little to no advancement for those already in the company. Long term employees and perhaps others are very unhappy with the direction of the company. It is no longer a company where people count.

"People count" really means "Let's count people for layoffs"

Pros

Pay and benefits are good. If you need a job during a pandemic, then you could do worse I guess.

Cons

There seem to be layoffs every month as the company trumpets a bizarre "responsible growth initiative." Despite there being a global pandemic, the company has increased our workload and stress. The CMO has launched no initiatives, has no goals, no new ideas, nothing. Leadership seems to hate making decisions but loves making presentations to manage up and make their bosses feel good. There is a total lack of clarity, accountability, and transparency. There is constant chaos and no real business goals. Just platitudes. They are woefully behind the times, and everyone seems to be pushing ideas from like 10 years ago. Everything gets done very slowly as everyone is risk averse to the point of paralysis. They are happy with the status quo.
