Pros

Hybrid work Stable company Current Technology

Cons

This was a really great company and organization to work for in the past but the last 2 years took a significant downturn when the current Head of Enterprise Technology was placed in his position. Run from this organization. He keeps close a few good ole boys (certainly not women) and promotes them up the chain. Everyone else is 'lead' by fear and being coercion. No one feels safe (especially his directs) to speak up so nothing changes. This organization is toxic and Guardian leadership ignores the issue. Recent survey results focused on the positives and would not address any of the negative concerns. HR is useless in this area and is part of this problem. The teams are worked to death, often after hours and told this is just part of the job and get used to it. What once was teams supporting each other is now divided by the management and pit against each other if they don't fall in the Head's reporting structure. Guardian talks a lot about people count, mental health, "say something" ethics values and work life balance but they don't really mean it for their employees.

Pros

The people. Sadly the good ones quietly quitting or rage applying due to new management’s mandates.

Cons

The company claims to care about work life balance and mental health. Nothing can be further from the truth. The company continues to exceed revenue goals. Management’s focus is on AI, offshoring and understaffing the company with onshore unqualified employees. Comp is not competitive with the market. They do not promote from within and loyalty is rewarded with a glass ceiling for working mothers. Remote employees who were hired as remote are being mandated into the office or terminated. If flexibility is important than a candidate should avoid this place because Guardian does not value there employment offers. Tenured people are very unhappy and burnt out. Yet another wave of attrition is on the horizon.
