Pros

Can't think of much at the moment as it continues to change and what were pluses to have gone. I guess longevity in the business is the only thing I can think of at the moment.

Cons

Antiquated Programs / philosophies Lacking ethics/Micromanagers Poor Managers - advanced inept ones Harassment Gender discrimination Poor vacation package - 2 weeks only forever ( most employers offer 3 years after 5 years-not Guardian) I have personal experience with the above. Micromanager hire micromanaging managers so it's self perpetuating. Management overly concerned about impressing their managers. Too many ridiculous changes from day to day. Disorganized! Shocked to have a manager tell me a candidates gender was concerning as she was a woman. I'm an exemplary rated employee and have to try to ignore my manager to get the job done, do the right thing and stay ethical. Can't go to HR as their interests are managements- not employees. Upper Mgmt. outrageous behavior resulted in their hiring a life coach then an HR babysitter when other companies would have suspended someone for this type of behavior- so why bother going to HR about anything?!

Pros

Remote work once a week.

Cons

- Managers strike off your name from presentations and present it as their own - Extremely political environment - Employees running their private consulting businesses off their company laptops - H1B employees promoted for lower salaries over American workers - Management makes decisions without considering employees. Moved everyone from NYC to Holmdel and there is not even a cafeteria in Holmdel. - Expect you to work extremely long hours and never recognize the work you put in - No respect for women although run by a woman CEO - Expect you to work out of various offices in the North East without paying any expenses - Zero Work Life Balance

Pros

Good pay and benefits. The health insurance cost was the lowest out of pocket I have had in years. Had a pension when I was there.

Cons

Unwilling to change from old process from the past 15 years. Company has too many silo’s to change and to be competitive in the marketplace.
